A new cinema app experience to make ticket booking simple and enjoyable

Project Goal
My goal is to create a mobile app that helps users discover the latest movies, whether currently showing or coming soon, find nearby cinemas, purchase tickets, and book seats with ease. The main purpose of the project is to simplify movie selection and deliver a seamless cinema experience.
Brand identity directly affects consumer perception and decisions. That’s why the brand’s logo was placed on the main page. The search button was moved lower to encourage users to spend more time browsing. Instead of horizontal scrolling, vertical scrolling was introduced to provide a smoother experience. Movie genres, duration, and IMDb scores were presented with fewer clicks. In the navigation bar, the icons were redesigned for greater convenience.
An extra click to access the movie synopsis was eliminated. Since some users may not recognize actors by name, actor images were added—clicking on them displays additional details. Once users have all the information about a movie, they can proceed to buy tickets, which is why the purchase button is positioned below. Ticket purchase steps such as selecting date, time, cinema, session, ticket type, and seat were all combined into a single page to avoid unnecessary clicks.
By automatically adding the saved card to the payment screen, users no longer need to re-enter their details. At the same time, spacing between the button and the text was adjusted for clarity. The total payment amount and the payment button were enlarged for better visibility. Users can complete their payment securely without needing to scroll back up.
